As I am wont to do, I was using up leftover paint from 1st Post-COVID Dance and this is the result.
I see a couple of faces and, oddly enough, so do the people who have seen the painting up close. One person pointed out to me that one face I can see is actually so much more complete than I thought. Another person sees a tribal mask.
This is what I like about abstract; also what I like about using up paint leftover from the day’s project. I never know what I’m going to get. I love the freedom of trusting the paint, the brushes or other tools, and the random strokes to find their own picture.
Ah, the freedom of letting go!
